Despite graduating in architecture and urbanism in the 1990s, my professional career steered into the vast field of localization. Ever since my first steps into earning money for a living, I was asked to translate something. English to German, Japanese to German, English to Japanese, German to Japanese, German to English, Japanese to English. From video games, user manuals, UI, marketing material in the fields of construction, imaging, apparel, IT, security, medical. I am a freelance translator since 2003. Based in my hometown Berlin. In my free time I enjoy learning languages, e.g. Turkish, Ukrainian, Italian, Spanish. For business, I translate/proof/review/edit only English to German.
